Summary

Liz Singleton

 Chair of the Governing Board and the Teaching & Learning Committee. Local Authority Governor Liz joined our governing body,as the Local Authority Representative and Leeds Local Leader of Governance and became Chair of Governors in October 2023. She comes with significant experience in education over the last 35 years. Having been a teacher, school improvement professional, OFSTED inspector and school governor for around 30 years she is well placed to support our school and the further development of governance going forward.

Recently retired, Liz volunteers as a Leeds Local Leader of Governance, supports local charitable organisations and enjoys being a granny.

Carrie Sawtell

  Governor  I have a background in secondary and higher education, though I have worked with primary aged children through university outreach programmes and the wider participation charity the Brilliant Club. I am a trained secondary teacher and now work in higher education. I wanted to support the local community by being a school governor and look forward to my time with Wykebeck working with other governors and staff to the benefit and wellbeing of our pupils. coming soon
