Breakfast Club

What we offer

The school runs a Breakfast Club each day from 08.00am to 08.30am.  The club is open to children from Reception to Year 6 and is run on a drop-in basis.  Parents do not need to book a place for their child(ren).

The aim of the Breakfast Club is to enable children to eat a healthy breakfast and socialise with their peers in a pleasant, relaxed and calm environment.

Children should enter through the small hall door must be registered with a member of staff on arrival.  After breakfast, the children will be escorted to their classrooms for early morning reading before the start of the school day.

Mrs Devaney has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Breakfast Club and is supported by a team of 6 staff.   All the staff are employed by the school and are fully DBS checked.

How much does it cost

We try to keep costs as low as possible to support our parents whilst still providing a good quality, family friendly service.

We ask for a voluntary contribution of 50p per child per day. This is payable either to the registering member of staff, or at the school office.

Everyday we offer:

  • A choice of at least 2 different cereals.
  • Bagels, toast and crumpets.
  • Fruit juice and water.
Our Breakfast Club is kindly supported by Magic Breakfast; a registered charity.  For more information about Magic Breakfast, please click here
