Returning to School in September 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome Back!
We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school when we re-open on Wednesday 9th September.  It is important that you read details of staggered starts and Covid control measures, which can be found in the documents below.  Reception and Nursery children have been contacted directly about their separate start dates.

Non-Uniform Day for Charity
On our first day of re-opening, Wednesday 9th September, we are holding a NON-UNIFORM DAY, with the aim of raising money for the NHS Covid-19 Urgent Appeal. The appeal was launched by NHS Charities Together in March, to acknowledge and support NHS staff, volunteers and patients impacted by Covid-19 across the country.
We are asking that each child brings a donation, no matter how little or how much, in exchange for wearing their own clothes that day.  Maybe your child wants to come to school dressed as a NHS keyworker for the day!  Please ask your child to hand in their donations to the classroom staff.

School Uniform Distribution
At the end of their first day back in school, each child will be provided with a complimentary uniform pack to take home with them.  Each pack contains:
x1 White polo shirt with embroidered logo
x1 Navy sweatshirt with embroidered log
x1 Yellow PE shirt
x1 pair of navy PE shorts.
Letters confirming all the information can be found below.  To view these letters using a mobile, you will need to download the PDF.
If you have any other questions about your child returning to school in September, or if you are unsure about the procedures, please contact the school office on or 0113 2491525.
