After School Clubs

We offer a range of free After-School Activity Clubs, based around sports and enrichment.

Our aim is to provide a high quality, safe and caring environment that provides opportunities for stimulating play and sport, for children aged 5 to 11.  The clubs run from 3.15pm to 4.15pm, Monday to Thursday each week.

The Clubs are run by a combination of our experienced staff and outside providers; all of whom are DBS checked.

Each term we send out an After School Club booking form.  To request a place at any of our clubs, parents must complete the form and return it to the school office.  Places are then allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.  Parents will be alerted if their child(ren) have secured a club place by text message.

Because our After-School Clubs are often heavily over-susbscribed, we offer a waiting list system.  Where a child has been allocated a place at a club and does not attend for x2 weeks or more (in cases other than serious illness), that place will be re-allocated to another pupil on the waiting list.

All children attending the Clubs must have completed registration and consent forms.  Some of this information is a legal requirement under the Children’s Act while the remainder ensures the Group’s staff can care safely for your child e.g. information on allergies.

In our clubs we try to create an atmosphere of caring and respect for each other.

We aim to provide secure, safe, comfortable and pleasant surroundings.

We help children to recognise, accept and respect their differences.

We encourage children to have patience with each other to learn self-control and to develop a responsibility for their actions.

The club sets high standards and has high expectations in terms of behaviour and we endeavour to praise and encourage good examples of this.

These expectations are continually re-enforced by staff inside and out.
